Market
Over 135 Natural Ice Cream outlets are located throughout the country in states like Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Goa, Telangana and Kerala as well as the Delhi NCR region.
Production and trade
India’s Mumbai district of Kandivali is home to the company’s only manufacturing plant, Charkop. In the Indian ice cream business, this is the only firm that provides its own outlets with ice cream every day. Brand recognition and word of mouth are the firm’s primary sources of income, and the company spends less than 1% of its sales from advertising.
To commemorate their second year in business, Naturals Now opened an experience concept shop in Juhu serving ice cream that was just pulled off the churner.
Products
Natural Ice Cream now boasts 125 flavor selections, with 20 of them available at all times of the year, up from the original 10 flavors. Seasons influence the variety of flavors that may be found in a dish. Muskmelon and watermelon are just a few of the seasonal sensations to look forward to. In addition, the brand offers a custard apple taste.
Awards and recognition
Corporation Bank’s National SME’s Excellence Award in the Food and Agro Industry was given to the brand in 2006. The heaviest ice cream slab, weighing 3,000 kilos, was recorded in the Limca Book of Records in February 2009 by a Natural Ice Cream shop in the Juhu Ville Parle Development project. In 2013, the company was recognized as the Best Regional Retailer for Customer Service. The Great Indian Ice Cream Contest awarded the company a gold prize in 2014 for their cucumber ice cream flavor, which was judged to be the most inventive. IMAGES Most Admired Food Service Chain of the Year in the Ice-cream & Dessert Parlours category awarded Natural Ice Cream the Coca-Cola Golden Spoon Award for its homegrown innovation in food service in 2016.
