A “mad husband” in Bushwick allegedly threw an iMac out of a window, killing a pigeon in the process, according to a witness in Brooklyn.
Mel Friday, Twitter’s Human, reported on the ludicrous tale, saying:
Someone’s unhappy husband tossed this mac out the window, killing a pigeon on the way down, as I walked through Bushwick.
Apple’s bigger 27-inch iMacs from back in the day seem to be lacking their trademark black bezels and laying on a dead bird on the side of the road in this photo. A flat-screen TV can also be seen in the photo, although it isn’t clear whether this piece of technology was also defenestrated during the argument, or if it has been purposely placed there for recycling.

With the redesign of Apple’s desktop range, the iMac dropped its bulky appearance and gained a sleeker look. It has been a mainstay in the company’s portfolio for many years. First first Apple silicon iMac was released by the firm last year to great fanfare and included not just Apple silicon but also an array of fantastic colours and a unique slim design.
According to rumours, Apple is also working on a bigger iMac with mini-LED technology, like the M1 iPad Pro (2021) that launched last year. The M1 Pro and M1 Max processors, which provide significant performance improvements over the M1 model, are supposedly on the way to Apple’s product selection.
