Sausage Patties

The replica McDonald’s sausage patties are the focus of this copycat. We enjoy these tasty, juicy, well-seasoned breakfast patties!

You’ll be surprised at how close it tastes to the actual thing. The seasoning contains only a few spices, but the secret ingredient is sage. This is what gives these breakfast patties that extra flavour kick that truly makes them taste like the Maccers!

How to make Sausage and Egg McMuffins in your PJ’s

It’s ridiculously simple – so you can do it while half asleep or if you’re feeling shaky from a few too many wines the night before (let’s just admit that Maccers is wonderful hangover food).

If the notion of handling raw meat first thing in the morning is too much for you, simply create the patties ahead of time – they will keep in the fridge for days and in the freezer for months!

I like to melt the cheese on top of the pattie. This isn’t how Maccers does it, but who can resist melted cheese poured over a breakfast sausage pattie? Not me!

In addition, my sausage patties are thicker. Because the beauty of handmade is that we can make things exactly how we want them!
