Mcdonald’s Sausage and Egg McMuffin Recipe

The sausage and egg McMuffin is another hidden gem on McDonald’s breakfast menu. It’s a delicious upgrade to the Egg McMuffin, made with delicious sausage, English muffin, egg, bacon, and cheese.

EQUIPMENT

  • Oven
  • Bowl
  • Skillet
  • Pan

INGREDIENTS  1x2x3x

For Sausage Patties

  • 500 g Ground Pork
  • ½ tsp Dried Ground Sage
  • ½ tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • ¾ tsp Black Pepper
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Sugar

For Muffins

  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 4 Eggs
  • 4 English Muffins
  • 4 Cheese Slices

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • To begin, preheat your oven to around 130oC.
  • Cut the muffin down the centre, flip it over, and top with some cheese.
  • Fill a bowl halfway with the sausage patty ingredients. Using your hands, combine everything until it’s completely combined.
  • Make 4 patties out of it and keep an eye on the size of the patties as they cook because they shrink. Make it a little larger.
  • Add some oil to a skillet and heat it over high heat. Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes, or until they turn brown. Cook thoroughly from both ends.
  • To make the eggs, heat another pan with a few drops of oil. Place the egg rings in the pan and coat them with oil.
  • Crack the eggs and place them in the ring moulds. Allow the eggs to cook before rolling them into a thick small omelet-style roll.
  • Remove your muffins from the oven and fill them with the sausage and egg mixture you made, then top with another muffin.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.
