Once again, we have the Google Pixel 6a in all its glory, viewed from every aspect.
This month’s Google Pixel 6a launch is still months away, but leaked information has already revealed many features of the phone. The most recent is a set of promotional renders that appear to be official in nature.
It appears that the photos, which were leaked by a well-known insider named Evan Blass(opens in new tab), are in fact authentic. Nothing new has been revealed in these images, since we’ve already seen the Pixel 6a in all three colors. When it comes to seeing how the Pixel 6a might look from every aspect, Blass is your man.
Google’s leak problem has gotten so serious that if this leak is real, it illustrates just how bad it is.
Both Google and Malaysian YouTuber Fazil Halim have posted unpacking videos of the Pixel 6a recently, and both claim to be authentic. Even before Google I/O, there was an incident in which the Pixel Watch was accidentally left in a restaurant, apparently revealing some of the most important details about Google’s first smartwatch before its official unveiling.
The Pixel 6a will be available for pre-order on July 21 and will go on sale one week later, on July 28. Costing $449 / £399, you can choose between white, green, or charcoal for this device (dark gray).
A 6.1-inch OLED display with 60Hz refresh rate, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 4,410mAh battery will be found in all three models. A dual back camera module with 12.2MP primary and 12MP ultrawide-angle lenses will be found on all three models, as well. Only 18W can be used for charging.
The Pixel 6a, like the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, will ship with Android 12.0, which includes all of the same great features. When Android 13 is released later this year, you’ll be among the first to receive the update.
The Pixel 6a’s performance is still unknown at this time. As a result, we’ll be doing our own tests after the phone’s release to determine just how amazing it and its Tensor chipset actually are.
