Netflix also confirmed that Stranger Things season 4 will be split into two parts, but that the season will not be halved. Volume 2 of Stranger Things 4 is just two episodes long (five fewer than the seven-episode volume 1).

Stranger Things 4 volume 2 trailers

In the second trailer for Stranger Things 4, volume 2, you can bet that someone will die.

The Stranger Things 4: The Return of Vecna teaser trailer has the voice of Vecna, which is an Easter egg in and of itself. Those of you who stuck around for the end credits of Stranger Things 4 episode 7 may have caught a glimpse of the video below.

The Upside Down was created by Henry Creel, Vecna explains to Eleven (in flashbacks from when El unintentionally helped the escape of 001/Henry Creel) “Eleven, thank you for rescuing me. It’s too late to halt this, “at an instant’s notice.

As part of Geeked Week, Netflix released the official version of the clip.

Stranger Things 4 volume 2 episode lengths

According to initial reports, Stranger Things 4 will be longer than the previous three episodes combined. “Episodes 407 is 1 hour, 38 minutes; 408 is roughly 1 hour, 25 minutes; and 409 is almost two and a half hours” was the first piece of information that Netflix(opens in new tab) provided.

Despite the fact that Stranger Things 4 volume 2’s final two episodes (which make up the bulk of the season) were noticeably vague, no one seemed to notice. It was reported that the finale lasted “two and a half hours,” but we won’t name names here because the “nearly” was removed.

When the official Twitter account for the Stranger Everything writer’s room tweeted, “Official finale runtime: 2 hours and 19 minutes,” things became plain.

Stranger Things 4 volume 2 plot

Eleven wasn’t responsible for The Massacre at Hawkins Lab, which is the most important revelation of this season’s conclusion. It is possible that El (Jamie Campbell Bower) helped kill Henry Creel (aka 001) by removing the lab-installed controls from his body. Henry Creel was then stopped by Eleven, who essentially sent him into (or created?) the Upside Down.

Vecna appears to be seeking vengeance, and the kids must work together to stop him. It appears that Eleven only regained a fraction of her power during her stay in the NINA experiment, reliving her history, in order to stop him.

When it comes to Nancy’s fate, the Upside-Down has no mercy on Dustin and his friends, who were able to assist Steve, Robin, and Eddie in their escape. Steve’s (and the others’) first priority in Stranger Things 4 volume 2 is likely to be saving her.

And while all this was happening in Russia, Joyce and Murray found Hopper and Dmitri, who had just stopped a Demogorgon with a spear through the face. Their return to the United States is imminent.

Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 cast

We’ve put up a comprehensive cast and character list for Stranger Things season 4 so you don’t miss a thing. Expect to see Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Max (Sadie Sink) and Will (Gaten Matarazzo) as well as other well-known young actors (Noah Schnapp). And because we’ve been anticipating this new season for so long, we thought it would be fun to take a look back at the Stranger Things kids through the years.

Stranger Things season 4 will have its largest “stakes” ever, according to Sink, who has told the press. The Upside Down may be becoming a threat to the entire planet, but what does that mean?

This season’s returning cast members include the aforementioned young adults Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy, Natalia Dyer, Jonathan and Robin (Charlie Heaton and Maya Hawke), as well as Hopper (Winona Ryder, who is one of our favorite TV parents).

Priah Ferguson, Sam Owens, Karen, and Murray make up the rest of the cast of Stranger Things season 4. (Brett Gelman).

There are eight new cast members, the first of which is none other than horror legend Robert Englund, according to Variety(opens in new tab). Stranger Things is getting the man who created Freddy Krueger. “A strange and scary man, Victor Creel, who is imprisoned for a horrible murder he committed in the 1950s,” the report states.

In 001/Henry Creel, Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd) takes on the role of the inattentive stoner with a car. New cast members Eduardo Franco (Booksmart) and Joseph Quinn (Catherine the Great) are Eddie Munson (The Hellfire Club D&D group leader) and Jason Carver (the rich boy at school), respectively. Yuri, the Russian smuggler, is Nikola Djuricko (Genius).

Grace Van Dien plays Chrissy, Hawkins High’s most popular cheerleader and lead cheerleader. However, E! News says that Ross and Matt Duffer want to continue working with Van Dien after claiming they regret killing her off. Eddie Munson, the last person to see Chrissy alive, or Jason Carver, her boyfriend, might bring her back in a flashback or a dream (or nightmare) scenario.

Tom Wlaschiha (Game of Thrones) joins the cast as Hopper’s acquaintance Dmitri, a Russian jail guard. Lt. Colonel Sullivan (Sherman Augustus, Into the Badlands) is on a mission to rid Hawkins of evil once and for all.

Also returning to assist Eleven regain her powers is Brenner (Matthew Modine), who “raised” her in the Hawkins National Laboratory.
