WhatsApp has finally added support for iOS 15 after six months after the original release of iOS 15. WhatsApp is now fully compatible with iOS 11 on iPhones. WhatsApp beta version 22.7.0.76, according to WABetaInfo, now supports iOS 15.
We should expect greater iOS 15 compatibilities in the near future as WhatsApp released a new beta with complete iOS 15 support.
This year’s iOS 15 was introduced, however, WhatsApp hasn’t been updated to work with the new version of the mobile operating system. That seems to be about to change, at least for the time being. WABetaInfo has confirmed what we already knew:
WhatsApp officially supports iOS 15 six months after the original release of iOS 15. Official support for iOS 15 features, such as the ability to display profile images in alerts for certain people and support for focus mode, is not available in WhatsApp. In actuality, WhatsApp indirectly supports several of these capabilities. The WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.7.0.76 has been released by the business, which offers official support for the newest iOS version, as well as a few tweaks to the user experience:
It seems that the rollout will include some minor UI changes, such as a darker toolbar. As a result, more people will be able to view profile photographs in their notification settings. According to the paper, these are only the beginning of the improvements made possible by the increased compatibility. In addition to compatibility adjustments and bug fixes, the beta version also contains a few new features. If you’re using the beta, it’s probable that WhatsApp’s full public version will acquire comparable features in the near future.
WhatsApp’s iOS 15 support is expected to arrive soon. WABetaInfo claims that further functionality will be added to this future upgrade.
