Apple Maps now provides live emergency vehicle road warnings

Safety Cloud, a digital alerting technology used by emergency responders and construction zones, is now supported in real time by Apple Maps.

For some time now, Apple’s main navigation app has allowed real-time warnings from other drivers. Safety Cloud HAAS Alert has been introduced, allowing users to get road danger alerts provided by expert employees through Apple Maps.

There are first responders, towing professionals, and other emergency vehicles that contribute to HAAS Alerts Apple Maps will notify users when they are close to one of these incidents or cars.

Many public safety agencies, roadside assistance firms, towing companies, road workers and other organisations utilise the HAAS Alert Safety Cloud.

On several emergency vehicles built by different manufactures, the HAAS Alerts service is a standard feature. An emergency vehicle, work zone equipment, telematics systems and traffic control platforms may all be integrated with the service.

More than 1 billion digital notifications have been sent out since the start of Safety Cloud in 2017.
