In the premium electric vehicle market, there is no shortage of competition, and the Lucid Air aims to take it on head-on. This is a car to keep an eye on if you’re looking for speed, range, and a sleek aerodynamic design.
With a range of 520 miles and a 0-60 time of 2.5 seconds, the Lucid Air may even be the Tesla challenger we’ve been waiting for. You could easily give the Tesla Model S Plaid a run for its money in terms of luxury sedans.

Price and release date information about Lucid Air
Delivery of the first Lucid Airs began at the end of October 2021, however only those who had made reservations as part of the Dream Edition were eligible to acquire their vehicles.
The Air Grand Touring vehicles will be delivered in June of 2022, followed by the rest of the line.
The Lucid Air is far from a bargain automobile, but then again, luxury does not come cheap. There are four versions to choose from, with costs starting at $87,400 and going all the way up to $179,000.

Battery and range of the Lucid Air

Lucid Air: The best of all worlds

456 liters/16 cubic feet in the back and 7 cubic feet in the front of the Lucid Air ensure that there’s plenty of room for all of your gear. Naturally, the Lucid Air is a sedan, so don’t expect to be able to cram an SUV’s worth of belongings into it. It’s not quite as big as the Tesla Model S’s 804 and 150 litres of space, but there’s still enough of capacity for groceries and other items. A self-driving vehicle
The DreamDrive system is the Lucid Air’s most essential technology. Driver assistance technology such as DreamDrive allows the automobile to perform some of the more taxing aspects of driving while you sit back and relax.

Sensors, an in-car monitor, and high-definition maps will be used in a manner similar to GM’s Super Cruise feature. In addition, the system will also be geolocked to prevent people from utilising it in jurisdictions where level 3 autonomy is not yet permitted.
To begin with, the DreamDrive will be a Level 2 autonomous system that will eventually be upgraded to a Level 3 system via an over the air update. Our guess is that the Lucid Air will have similar features to other level 2 systems, such lane keeping, lane change assistance, and adaptive cruise control. However, the business hasn’t revealed anything concrete just yet.
We are still a long way from a fully autonomous vehicle, but if Lucid can meet its three-year deadline, we’re getting closer.
