Even though Polestar is quickly establishing itself as one of the most intriguing names in electric car manufacturing, it’s gone above and above this time. To illustrate what a vehicle might be if it was determined to be both bizarre and amazing, Polestar unveiled the O2 concept car.
The end product is a vehicle that includes a drone that is self-driving. It’s also a hardtop convertible. It’s also the first totally zero-emission electric vehicle. In other words, it would be the first electric vehicle to be fully pollution-free from start to finish, rather than just removing the pollution from the exhaust pipe halfway through driving.
You didn’t really get beyond the drone portion did you? Let’s get started with the less crazy things first, shall we? Afterwards, we’ll move on to the more interesting material.
It has a retractable hardtop that allows users to enjoy the convertible experience without having to deal with engine noise. Certainly the idea is “lively, bright, and full of confidence,” as Polestar puts it. To make recycling simpler when the time comes, the O2 will include a cabin full of materials meant to be recycled.
The drone is what truly matters here, isn’t it? Hoco Flow designed and produced the drone, and it’s part of the Polestar O2’s back seats.. It has four chairs, in case you missed it. No one gives a fig about it. Back to the drone now!
If a speed restriction is in place, it’s safe to assume that Polestar’s drone will be unable to take off if you are travelling too fast. However, once in the air, the drone should be able to reach speeds of up to 56 mph.
In the future, drone owners will be able to pick from two flying patterns, and their drone will follow the automobile to shoot cinematic video that only a YouTuber could appreciate. If you’ve ever wanted to view what a drone sees via its 15-inch in-car display, here is your chance. You’re going to do it, of course.
When you’re done, the drone will return to the vehicle, saving you the trouble of retrieving it.
Consider lowering your expectations at this point. Even if it sounds fantastic, you won’t be able to purchase it. After all, the Polestar O2 is only a concept car. It doesn’t seem like this will be one of those concept concepts that finally becomes a genuine product or service. Regardless, I think this is a fantastic idea. Source
