We’ve got some time to play with the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max now that the iPhone 13 reviews have arrived.
We don’t have enough time with each device to give you a definitive assessment, but we expect to have a star rating for our iPhone 13 review within the next few days. Then, in the not-too-distant future, we’ll have evaluations of every other model.

What is the major point to take away from this? Apple isn’t exaggerating when it comes to battery life. Apple said at its September 14 launch event that the battery life is considerably better than the iPhone 12 series, and we can confirm that.
Although this isn’t the best battery life available on a smartphone, it is a big advance over earlier iPhone models, making each of these devices simpler to recommend.
The iPhone 13 is the gadget from the new series that we’ve tested the most, and we’ve been delighted with the incremental improvements it offers over prior iPhones.
The iPhone 13 has few headline-grabbing enhancements, but our prolonged first look at the gadget reveals considerable improvements in the screen, battery life, camera, and performance.
In our tests, we discovered that the iPhone 13 had a screen-on time of almost nine hours when the brightness was set to maximum. After that test, the phone’s battery was still at roughly 20% capacity. That’s with a variety of chores and a lot of video streaming throughout the day.
In addition, we’ve spent some time with the iPhone 13 mini, which shows promise with its quality design in a smaller package. Soon, we’ll have a comprehensive review with more information on how it works.

So, what about the rest of the models?

We’ve also tested the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max for a short time, and the inclusion of the 120Hz refresh rate is the most noticeable difference.
It’s nice to see this functionality coming to Apple’s phones, especially because many Android phones already have similar (and in some cases much faster) refresh rates.
This will improve the experience of navigating through social media feeds or playing mobile games.
Expect to see our full review of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max in the next week when we’ve had more time to use the smartphones and fully put each model to the test.
