A September Prime Day could be in the works, according to Amazon.
For the first time ever, a new report says that Amazon may be planning a second Prime Day in the fall of this year. According to a note obtained by CNBC, the retail giant has informed a small group of third-party vendors about a “Prime Fall discount event” (opens in new tab).
Annual Prime Day, which takes place July 12 and 13, has been revealed by the online retailer. By the end of the year, CNBC expects a second prime day to take place.
This would mark the first time Amazon has staged two Prime Day sales in the same year, if the information in the report is correct.
As a reminder, Amazon launched its first ever Epic Daily Deals event in October, just a few months before to Thanksgiving. That said, it could be an attempt by Amazon to relaunch its Epic Daily Deals event for the fall of 2022, even though it wasn’t billed as such.
Even if you wait until after Thanksgiving to shop on Amazon, Prime Day is frequently the finest day of the year to do so. In addition to Amazon gear, Prime members can take advantage of savings on 4K TVs, kitchen appliances, and more during the retail holiday.
