Realme has launched a number of products in a virtual launch event in India, as previously announced. In addition to the Realme GT 2 Pro, the company has also released a new 4G version of the Realme 9 and a new set of Realme Buds Air 3 TWS. The Realme Book Prime and a low-cost streaming stick were also added to the company’s laptop lineup.

Before the MWC, the Realme GT 2 Pro was released in China, but it was only recently made available to the international market.

Again, Realme worked with Naoto Fukasawa, an industrial designer, on this handset’s design, and the company has created the first “bio-based polymer device” in the industry.

Specs on the GT 2 Pro include a 2K display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 5,000mAh battery with 65W charging, and an impressive triple camera setup on the back, which is to be expected from a device of this calibre.

When it comes to pricing, the Realme GT 2 Pro is available in two storage options, with the base model costing Rs. 49,999 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The most expensive model, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, costs Rs. 57,999.

Paper White, Paper Green, and Steel Black are the three colour options for the phone. Flipkart and Realme’s official website will both sell it when it goes on sale on April 14.

SBI and HDFC cardholders get a one-time discount of Rs 5,000 as an introductory offer. In addition to the Realme GT 2 Pro, Realme is also offering the Realme Watch S.

Features and specifications of the Realme GT2 Pro

An AMOLED display with 1440×3216 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1000 Hz touch response rate, and 1400 nits of peak brightness is used in the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone.

The LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) 2.0 panel used in this phone can adjust the refresh rate from 1 Hz to 120 Hz depending on the content being consumed. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the screen, which has a 10-bit colour depth.

Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the GT 2 Pro includes up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage on the underneath. The virtual RAM technology in the phone allows you to use the phone’s storage as RAM anytime you need it. The phone has support for RAM expansion.

An upgraded 9-layer cooling mechanism claims to keep the phone from overheating, according to the manufacturer.

The rear of the phone features a three-camera configuration. This phone has a 50MP camera with OIS, a 50MP camera with a 150-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 3MP camera with a microscopic zoom. For video calls and selfies, the phone boasts a 32 MP camera on the front.

In addition to the 65W charger, the phone comes with a 5000 mAh battery pack that can be charged at 65W. Unfortunately, the GT 2 Pro lacks wireless charging. Stereo speakers, NFC, GPS, and more are also important features.
