It has been reported that the “iPhone 14 Pro” series would include 8GB of RAM, according to a source in the iPhone supply chain.
The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro both have 6GB of RAM, which is more than Apple usually announces.
The 8GB amount has been verified by “yeux1122” on Naver, a Korean blogging service. It is also alleged that mass manufacturing has begun.
According to a source in the domestic supply chain, the iPhone 14 Pro’s 8 gigabytes of RAM was introduced this year.
According to the allegation, “They state… the supply with linked firms is already confirmed,” and “schedule for mass production seems to be progressing quicker, [with] tighter control of supply plans for critical elements following COVID-19.”
According to the leaker “yeux1122,” the “iPhone 14 Pro” would match the current Samsung Galaxy. Traditionally, Android phones have had more RAM than iPhones, but Apple’s iOS routinely performs better even if it has less memory.
The 8GB version of the iPhone is a first for Apple. A 16GB RAM option is available for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro from Apple.
iPad applications can only use 5GB of RAM at a time, however Apple has provided solutions for this limitation.
The “iPhone 14 Pro,” according to leaker “yeux1122,” will include 8GB of RAM, putting it on par with the most recent Samsung Galaxy. Apple’s iOS performs better despite having less memory than Android phones, which traditionally have greater RAM.
Even before the next iPhone is out, the iPhone 13 is already outperforming Samsung’s Galaxy S22 in terms of performance.
A makeover of the 2022 iPhone line’s exterior is also a possibility, according to rumours. A “hole-punch” camera system, for example, has been rumoured for the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
Additionally, the “iPhone 14” line is said to have a 48MP camera sensor and likely go to an eSIM-only network.
