According to certain reports, Oppo’s sole goal is to mislead both consumers and the media. In Spain, an Oppo Reno8 Lite 5G has just been released. The Oppo Reno7 Lite 5G has been rebranded as the Oppo F21 Pro 5G for India, as predicted by the reports. The primary Reno8 trio has nothing to do with any of these. All three comparisons are available here.
A full review of the Reno7 Lite 5G is also in the works, so keep an eye out for that one. With a 6.43-inch, 60Hz AMOLED display, the Reno8 Lite 5G from Europe sports a 16MP selfie camera that is located in the upper left corner of the screen. There’s also a fingerprint reader built inside the display. In addition to a 64MP main camera and two 2MP auxiliary sensors for depth and macro photography, the phone has two additional 2MP cameras.
Powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset, the Reno8 Lite 5G has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage, which can be further expanded via virtual memory. Battery life is ensured by a 4,500 mAh cell that supports 33W charging.
Other features include 5G SA/NSA support, a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, and an IPX4 ingress protection rating. The attractive blue ring aura lighting that surround the rear cameras are also expected to be present. It comes in two colours: Cosmic Black and the far more eye-catching Rainbow Spectrum, both measuring 159.9 x 73.2 x 7.5 mm and weighing 173 g. The Reno8 Lite 5G will cost EUR 429 from Spanish carriers when it goes on sale later this month.
