The Snapdragon 888 (rather than the 8 Gen 1), which is connected to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is partnered with the custom processor here. Aside from the new Multi-Screen Connect feature that enables you to smoothly move between using your phone and your Windows PC, ColorOS 12.1 (based on Android 12) is the same operating system.

The X5 sports a 6.55″ OLED display, which is smaller than the X4. Although it is not an LTPO panel, it nevertheless delivers a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1080p+ resolution. With a matte glass back and a fingerprint-resistant frame, the rear of the phone is completely covered.

Not only does the Find X5 use the same MariSilicon chip as the Pro, but it also boasts a comparable camera configuration. IMX766-equipped wide and ultra-wide cameras are included. The 1.0m pixels on the 1/1.56″ sensors may be binned. The wide camera does include OIS, but it’s the standard kind, not the 5-axis version found only on the Pro.

A 13MP telephoto camera may also be found on the rear (52mm lens, 2x optical magnification). 32MP selfie camera with IMX615 sensor (no RGBW filter), 81° FOV (compared to 90° on Pro) on the front, compared to 90° on Pro.

While the X5 Pro’s battery is 300 mAh larger than that of the X3’s, the X4’s battery is somewhat smaller. Wireless charging has been downgraded from 80W SuperVOOC to 30W AirVOOC, but it’s still very quick and convenient.

Multi-tier cooling system with an extra big vapour chamber is included in the X5’s design. However, it does not have an IP certification for dust or water. There is still a 360-degree antenna on board, which ensures a steady connection to 5G

On March 14, Oppo will launch sales of the X5 to the general public, with pre-orders starting at €1,000 for the 8/256 GB model (the only one available in Europe). Customers may choose from two colour options: Black or White.
