The winners of the GLOMO (Global Mobile) Awards were revealed after the conclusion of the Mobile World Congress in February. In the mobile sector, there are six award categories: Solutions that develop and transform the mobile communications sector are recognised by Mobile Tech. Industry X honours firms who develop new ways of tying mobile devices with other aspects of people’s daily lives.
Award winners in the Tech4Good category focus on solutions to pressing global issues like climate change, inclusion, and humanitarian crises, among other things. The only other award in this category goes to Spain, which received the Government Leadership Award. This award is given to people who have made the greatest contribution to the mobile sector.
The Device category will be the centre of our attention here. The Oppo Find N’s Hinge and display integration wins the “Disruptive Device Innovation Award.”
For the development of the smartphone’s basic hardware and software. According to a panel of the world’s finest independent experts, journalists, and influencers, there are a number of new and creative technologies that are advancing the user experience and improving smartphone capabilities.
The Apple AirTag, FairPhone 4, Google Tensor Chip, and Samsung’s Galaxy Z series were also considered for this award.
The “Best Smartphone” title goes to the Apple iPhone 13 for its “excellent performance, innovation, and leadership as judged by an examination of cellphones on the market” until 2021.
Google Pixel 6 Pro, Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Z Flip3, and Z Fold3 were all considered for this award.
