Serial manufacturing of the OnePlus Pad 5G has begun in numerous European and Eurasian locations, and it is believed to use a Snapdragon 865 processor.
There are several reports claiming that OnePlus is planning to introduce a tablet to compete with the recently announced Galaxy Tab S8 and Xiaomi Pad 5. It is anticipated that the ‘OnePlus Pad 5G,’ as the gadget is known internally, would be on sale in the first half of 2022 at an attractively low price.
According to famous tipster Mukul Sharma, the OnePlus Pad has reached the serial manufacturing phase in numerous European and Eurasian locations and is expected to be released soon. Oppo has yet to respond to these allegations. We should anticipate the gadgets to be on sale in China initially, months before they go on sale elsewhere in the world.
The OnePlus Pad 5G’s hardware and price data have also been revealed by a Twitter user dubbed Shadow Leak. A 12.4-inch full HD+ OLED screen, like the Galaxy Tab S8+, is expected to be on board, according to the rumour mill. Despite prior leaks suggesting a smooth 120Hz display, there is no mention of a refresh rate in the press release.
In spite of the fact that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 is a last-generation chipset, the OnePlusPad 5G will run on it. Compared to most consumer-grade tablets, the CPU is combined with 128GBs of storage and 6GBs of RAM, which is 2GBs less than the industry norm. A lack of other information from the leaker suggests that OnePlus will only release a single smartphone when it makes its debut.
The phone will come preloaded with Android 12 and a 13MP + 5MP rear-facing camera setup. To take self-portraits and make video calls, there’s an 8MP camera up front. The tablet is powered by a 10,090mAh battery that can be charged at 45W.
A fingerprint scanner on the side, a 3.5mm headphone connector, and Bluetooth 5.1 may also be included. For 2,999 Chinese Yuan, the gadget is set to be on sale (about Rs 35,940).
