It’s hard to believe you’re at an Apple Store and no one is hiding their identity.
According to reports, Apple Stores throughout the United States have decided to no longer require consumers to wear a face mask when shopping. This time, it looks that the company may be willing to do the same for its workers as well.
As early as “two weeks,” according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the corporation is contemplating lifting the mask requirement for Apple Store staff.
I’ve heard Apple is contemplating removing the rule for retail workers in the next two weeks as well.
According to a storey published yesterday, Apple would no longer compel consumers to wear masks, but the necessity for employees will stay. Today, things aren’t so great! Customers and staff may, of course, continue to wear masks at Apple shops, and the company has said that it will continue to do so.
Employees at qualifying shops were informed of the changes this week and the company’s website has been modified to indicate which locations are no longer required to wear masks. In the meanwhile, Apple will continue to suggest and offer face masks to its users. According to staff, masks will still be necessary for Apple retail personnel.
In places where requirements have been eliminated, such as Ohio and the Carolinas and Georgia and Kansas and Kentucky, the new mask policy is applicable. Customers in Hawaii and other jurisdictions with tougher regulations are required to wear face masks in shops. For customers who have been vaccinated, Apple stores in New York City have also made the use of face masks optional.
Latest news from the firm offers a favourable picture for the pandemic’s future. We can only hope that the mask regulation will never be reinstated.
