In response to consumer demand, Fossil has announced its next-generation Hybrid smartwatch, which combines a traditional design with some of the most cutting-edge wearable functionality. Taking aesthetic aspects from Fossil’s other Gen 6 smartwatches, the Gen 6 Hybrid packs in even more technology.

Machine and Stella are the two distinct styles you get to choose from. Black, Smoke, and Silver are the available colors for the 45mm case on the former. More feminine color options are available for the Stella, which is available in a 40.5mm casing with options like Rose Gold and Silver, as well as two-tone. Three-link metallic and classic leather and silicone bands are interchangeable on both watches (18mm and 24mm, respectively).

Also included are notifications, custom watch faces, continuous heart rate and workout monitoring as well as the Gen 6 Hybrid’s SpO2 tracking, in addition to the two week battery life. A built-in microphone for Amazon Alexa is also included in the updated model.

The new smartwatch companion software for Android and iOS from Fossil also has greater personalization choices and a more complete dashboard for tracking fitness data. Owners of older Fossil Hybrid smartwatches will be able to take use of the app’s improved UI with the updated version of the app.

Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid will be available on June 27 for $229 or $249 if you choose a metallic band model via Fossil.com or Fossil retail shops.
