Apple has previously discussed tiny OLED screens for “Apple Glass” with a number of suppliers.

There had previously been a belief that the micro OLED would stay tiny and so have limited profitability. Apple, Meta, and Samsung have all urged that the business continue working on the technology.

High-resolution and high-efficiency performance are two of the advantages of tiny OLED.

That’s why tiny OLED is being requested for future augmented reality headsets, according to speculation. Apple’s initial headset, now scheduled in 2023, would depend on tiny OLED, according to the Elec.

On the other hand, Apple hasn’t said how or when it plans to employ tiny OLED. LG Display, according to The Elec, is developing a normal OLED panel for Apple’s first headset and a tiny OLED screen for the second.

Sony, on the other hand, is said to be delivering Apple’s first headset with tiny OLED displays.

According to these three companies, they seem to be in various stages of development. Apple’s second headgear is now slated in 2025, and it looks that all three companies are in position to provide the panels for it.
