Apple Music student New subscribers can get free Beats Flex

Apple is giving new members of its Apple Music Student plan a free pair of Beats Flex earphones in addition to its current back-to-school promotions.

Starting on June 22, new accounts subscribing to Apple Music on the less expensive Student plan will be eligible for the promotion, which includes a free pair of Beats Flex headphones for consumers in the US and the UK.

The deal is only available to students in the two countries who have never previously subscribed to any Apple Music tier, per the terms and restrictions of the promotion. To be eligible for an Apple Music Student subscription, you must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent higher education program and have your status as a student confirmed by Apple or a supported third-party verification partner.

Once they pay their first monthly subscription fee, users are then eligible for the earphones. Apple will provide users the instructions to redeem their free set of Beats Flex earphones after 30 days of becoming eligible; these instructions must be followed within 90 days of receiving them.

Soon after Apple launched its 2022 Back to School gift card promotion, which offers gift cards coupled with educational savings, the offer was made.

On June 22 or 23, Apple discreetly increased the price of the Student plan in the U.S., U.K., and Canada, from $4.99 to $5.99 (or another local currency). Other plans’ prices are unchanged.
