Amazon has leaked the Samsung Galaxy S22 hours before the official unveiling.
In the days before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, when the Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup is expected to be introduced, there are certain to be some last-minute leaks. There is a massive leak from Amazon that includes information on price, specifications, and a release date.
Some screenshots were taken before the page was taken down from Amazon Australia’s website for this phone (bundled with the Echo Show 8), reported off to Pocket-lint. Several of the phone’s specifications, as well as price and availability, are shown on the shop website.
The S22 family’s camera enhancements may be seen in some of the descriptions. These include “Nightgraphy,” which is fantastic news for low-light photography, while “58-degree wider optical image stabilisation for smoother video” is also good news. It also lists the 108-megapixel primary camera on the S22 Ultra, a carryover from the S21 Ultra.
Pictures of the S22 Ultra’s S Pen may be seen in the listing’s photos. In the past, Samsung offered a S Pen as an attachment for the S21 Ultra, but this year, the S22 Ultra seems to have the S Pen as part of the device itself.
| Galaxy S22 | Galaxy S22 Plus | Galaxy S22 Ultra | |
| 128GB | AU$1572.90 | AU$1902.90 | AU$2232.90 |
| 256GB | N/a | N/a | AU$2397.90 |
| 512GB | N/a | N/a | AU$2562.90 |
The S22 series has a lot going for it in terms of design elements. An IP68 water-resistant Gorilla Glass Victus Plus display is said to be on board, as well as Armor Aluminum edges. “BrightVision” seems to be Samsung’s official moniker for the reported super-bright screen.
There is also an Australian price on the website, as it is on Amazon. This information can be found in the following table, even if the pricing for several of the models we anticipated to see are omitted.
According to these pricing, they are much more than the price of the Galaxy S21 when it was first released in Australia. However, considering the strange structuring of these pricing, we’re hoping that this does not indicate a significant price rise for the S22 series. Prices have been raised in the past, but no one has predicted a hike this significant in this time period before now.
The website also said that the phone will be available for purchase on March 4. Given that it will be a Friday in just over three weeks, it seems to be a reasonable release date, since it will give everyone plenty of time to place their pre-orders before the official release.
As previously mentioned, the page lists the available storage capacities for the three phones: 128GB or 256GB of storage for the S22 and S22 Plus, and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage for the S22 Ultra. The S22 and S22 Plus have 128GB of storage, and the S22 Ultra has 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. It has also been reported that a 1TB version of the Galaxy S21 Ultra would be offered.
In terms of colours, Pocket-lint reports that the selections were “blush, burgundy, green, black, and white.” However, according to the speculations, not all five of these hues will be accessible on all of the vehicles. While the colours black, white, and green are expected to be available on all of the phones, the blush hue (perhaps referred to as Rose Gold) is only expected to be available on the S22 and S22 Plus, while burgundy is only expected to be available on the S22 Ultra.

The Galaxy S22 has been given a name
One more piece of information has emerged, which seems to confirm that the next Galaxy phone will really be known as the “Galaxy S22,” thus adding to the growing list of leaks. The fact that you said that is the least shocking thing we’ve heard this year.
The moniker was discovered by our friends at TechRadar, and it appeared in the most recent software update for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, along with a statement that said “Live Wallpaper Watch face update with the Galaxy S22’s wallpaper.”
All of these indicates that the Galaxy S22 will very certainly be shown today, if not earlier. Samsung hasn’t said what it will unveil at the Unpacked event, but we’re willing to wager our life that it will be a flagship phone series, in addition to the reported Galaxy Tab S8 series.
