Under-display cameras have been pioneered by ZTE in the mobile market. An purported live picture of the upcoming ZTE Axon 40 smartphone, which is said to include the third generation under-display camera system, has appeared on the internet.

According to a live photo of the front provided on Weibo by a leakster, there is almost no difference between the region where the camera resides and the rest of the panel. An AMOLED display, like the Axon 30 and the nubia Red Magic 7 Pro, will be replaced with a 1440p display, according to reports.

For the seamless look, pixels in the display’s little region above the camera were adjusted. Instead of a decrease in pixel density, this generation’s panels will have an increase in pixel density similar to that of a Full HD display.

On the left and right sides, the bezels are almost hidden by the AMOLED panel’s curved edges, while the top is as tiny as it can be. PWM (pixel-width modulation) dimming is also believed to be included in the new screen.
