Joe Goldberg, a serial murderer and stalker, is being sent to merry old England in You season 4. Netflix has announced that the show will follow Joe’s deadly path as he roams the streets of London (not Paris) in search of his newest victim. Several new characters will be introduced to the programme, all of whom Joe will have the opportunity to frighten and murder.

A Netflix show called You has trailed Joe from New York City, where he killed Guinevere Beck and numerous others, to Los Angeles, where he fell for Love Quinn and learned she was just as insane as he. They married and relocated to Madre Linda, a suburban nightmare, when she became pregnant.

Joe and Love had a newborn boy, Henry, in season 3, but they couldn’t seem to stop adding to their family. While in Paris looking for his old employer Marienne and his stalking target Marienne, Joe’s marriage came to an end (literally).

Netflix has published photographs of Joe reading Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, Vanity Fair, and Sherlock Holmes, so it seems his stay in the City of Love is short.

Everything we know about You season 4 thus far is here.

Release date rumours for season four are rife.

Netflix has yet to announce a release date for You season 4.

Before the third season had aired, the streamer gave You season 4 the go-ahead. A video announcing the start of Netflix’s fourth season was made public on October 13th.

Season 4 of You has not yet been announced. Check out the show’s timeline. Season 1 premiered on Lifetime and wrapped up in November of this year. Season 2 was released on Netflix in December of that year.

Episodes for Season 3 were not published until October 2021 as originally planned due to the pandemic-related delays in shooting. You season 4 might air as early as autumn 2022, because to the resurgence of film and television productions.

Season 4 cast members

Penn Badgley will play Joe Goldberg, a serial murderer and stalker, in You season 4.

A violent gas explosion caused by Joe at the end of season 3 seems to have killed Victoria Pedretti’s Love Quinn, who was supposed to return for season 4. A flashback, dream scenario, or vision may certainly include Pedretti.

Since Joe has vanished (and is thought dead), it’s doubtful that many of the people introduced in Madre Linda will return in season 4. Tati Gabrielle’s Marienne Bellamy, Joe’s employer and the current object of his passion, is the only exception. Joe has relocated to Paris in order to find her, and we know how effective he is at this.

Perhaps Joe will travel to California to see how his son Henry, whom he left behind with a library coworker and her husband, is doing in the states of his birth and adoption. Both Ben Mehl and Noel Arthur portray Dante Ferguson and Lansing, respectively.

Dottie Quinn, Love’s mother, might also make a reappearance as Saffron Burrows. She was on her way to rehab when we last saw her. Dante and Lansing had won custody of Henry when we last saw her. Dottie, on the other hand, is tenacious and may reappear.

Cardi B might also make a guest appearance on You season 4. On Twitter, the rapper and Badgley have expressed their admiration for one other. As for Cardi B, when Jimmy Kimmel brought it up, the actor said, “I don’t know.” “I’m not sure, and I’m not going to try to guess. On the other hand, there’s a legitimate Change.org petition, which I believe to be accurate.”

A petition started by Netflix to have rapper Cardi B appear as a guest role on the streaming service’s upcoming fourth season was met with a response from the singer:

Lukas Gage, star of Euphoria, has been cast in Netflix’s You for the forthcoming fourth season, according to Deadline.

Reports claim that Gage will be cast in the role “a rich East Coast magnate’s eldest son, an American expat. He’s renowned for stumbling catastrophically in the face of the success and venerability of his wealthy and illustrious family. Party host and close buddy Adam is an entrepreneur and gambler. Underneath all the lies and self-medication, Adam has a treasure trove of secrets and difficulties to cover up.”

Additional cast members have also been added to You season 4, according to Deadline. Character descriptions are also available on the site.

Lady Phoebe is played by Tilly Keeper “The tabloids have chronicled Phoebe’s every bikini wax since she was 15 years old, documenting her kindness and sweetness alongside her wealth, fame, and chaos. Her actual self is shown when she is alone with her friends, an aristocratic socialite with a devoted following. She’s an unwavering supporter of her American business partner Adam, in particular. Also, she’s a wild card: will she rise to the occasion or disintegrate when tragedy strikes?”

Nadia is played by Amy Leigh Hickman “It is Nadia’s outspokenness and passion that mask her vulnerabilities, as a literature student with a love for genre narrative and an ambition to become a serious novelist. Since then, she has committed a number of significant blunders that might end her life. Even if she gets it from the wrong people, she’ll still need it.”

When Ed Speleers takes on the role of Rhys, we get this: “cynical and apathetic Rhys is a best-selling author whose book has earned him both critical praise and calls for him to enter the public arena. Rhys was born into poverty and had a difficult childhood before he came into money and went to Oxford. He is now able to blend in with any social group while simultaneously being able to see through the people he encounters. Even while he likes keeping in contact with his odd group of pals, he doesn’t have much time for partying. Remember, they were there for him when he was in his darkest hours.”

Plot and storylines for season four are up to you

While Joe was in Paris under the guise of Nick, you season 3 will begin some time after that. The City of Love is where he believes Marienne and her daughter are hiding out.

Sera Gamble, the show’s creator and producer, tells Deadline that “the entire You team is thrilled to explore new, dark dimensions of love in season 4.”

It was confirmed that Joe would be moving to London by Netflix, though. It’s possible he never found Marienne… or he did, and she suffered the same tragic end as his past love interests. In order to prepare for his upcoming showdown with the British, he’s flown across the Atlantic and is now reading classics by Charles Dickens.

Casino told TVLine that: “It would be a dream come true for me to tour across Europe. The idea of doing that excites me much. One of the show’s recurring questions is, “What pool of entitled douchebags do we want to dump Joe into?” If you merely leave the United States’ boundaries, you’ll find a wealth of undiscovered resources all over the globe.”

In addition, there’s the subject of his son, who is now living in Madre Linda. In the same manner that Joe’s mother abandoned him, Joe will definitely feel a great deal of remorse over abandoning his kid.

To paraphrase Gamble to E! Online: “I believe it will influence him from this time forward. In fact, even his specific strategy of when and if he would return for his kid is something that [the authors] will…come together to discuss about for a long time and a long time.”

The second big issue is whether Joe will ever face any meaningful consequences for all the murders he’s committed. There is comfort in the thought that he will be held accountable, as Gamble put it. “We often get stuck in a rut of speculative debates about which option would be best. Is he deserving of death? If only it were that simple! Is he a criminal?”
