Mick Herron’s novel of the same name serves as the basis for the TV series, which stars Gary Oldman.

Espionage thriller “Slow Horses” tells the story of an MI5 “dumping ground” department known as Slough House, where a dysfunctional team of British intelligence officers work together to uncover espionage threats. With Oldman as Jackson Lamb, Slough House becomes the final resting place for those who make career-ending blunders while manoeuvring through the haze of espionage’s smoke and mirrors. This film has an impressive cast, including Academy Award candidate Kristin Scott Thomas and BAFTA Scotland Award winner Jack Lowden, as well as Saskia Reeves, Dustin Demri-Burns and Rosalind Eleazar as well as Christopher Chung, Paul Higgins and Freddie Fox.

See-Saw Films and Will Smith are behind the show’s production for Apple TV+ (“Veep”). Alongside Smith, Graham Yost serves as an executive producer. The show’s executive producers are Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Gail Mutrux, and Douglas Urbanski. Executive Produced by James Hawes, who directs all six episodes.
