Fedorov has sent a letter to Apple demanding that the tech giant stop all Russians from accessing the App Store because of the current conflict in Ukraine.

Twitter user Fedorov claims to have written to Apple CEO Tim Cook requesting that the company no longer sell Apple devices or services in Russia. He goes on to claim that Russians will no longer be able to use the App Store.

According to Fedorov, Russia’s “disgraceful military assault” might prompt a wave of demonstrations throughout the country.

Any firm doing business in Russia will feel the effects of a ban on US government hardware or software sales, no matter what Federov says. The iPhone would be unavailable in Russia, as would operating system upgrades and management of the App Store.

As a result of sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union, clients of certain Russian banks were unable to use payment systems like Apple Pay and Google Pay earlier today.

Apple, other prominent tech firms, and even Bitcoin have fallen in value since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine triggered this “Black Swan” event in the stock market.
