For the first time in a long time, Mint customers may access their Apple Card information.
Users of Apple’s new credit card, the Apple Card, may now connect their credit card to the Mint budgeting tool after a series of difficulties.
Apple Card has built-in money and spending monitoring in the Wallet app, but Mint provides a method for consumers to take control of their finances in a manner that wouldn’t be possible without it. Mint once supported the Apple Card, however this support was disabled due to a string of problems. Now, according to 9to5Mac, the integration is open to everyone.
Connect your Apple Card to your Mint account in order to use this service. You’ll be prompted to enter your Apple ID and password when you do this. Apple is allowing Mint access to your credit card account information, including your available credit, APR, and transaction history. To ensure continued access, users must re-authorize their accounts every 90 days. As an additional security measure, two-factor authentication should be activated as well.
Although the information given to Mint “isn’t as extensive as others,” the same study says that it is obviously better than nothing because of the information provided.
As of now, the Apple Card credit card is only accessible to consumers in the United States, but it is expected to be released abroad soon. To get the credit card off the ground, Apple will need a banking partner, which complicates things.
