Apple Store Employees selected at locations in the United States are secretly seeking to form a union, according to the Washington Post today.
An estimated half-dozen additional sites may be in the early stages of organising their staff, according to this report, which says that groups of workers at at least two shops have begun drafting paperwork for filing with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Apple did not respond on the storey right away.
Apple retail workers who want to unionise are particularly concerned about the fact that salaries have not kept pace with inflation. Even while some retail workers say they received pay increases from Apple, the research argues that when inflation rises, some of them are really earning less money than when they were employed.
Workers at Apple retail may make between $17 and more than $30 an hour, according to a new research. However despite Apple being one of the world’s most valuable firms, some workers think that they should be paid more.
According to reports, Apple is making an attempt to retain and recruit retail staff in the present job market by offering better perks.
