This one could help to dispel the myth that the New York Times purposefully made Wordle more difficult, but we doubt that many people would miss the joke or even understand what it implies.

Since its October 2021 introduction, Wordle has been gaining traction, but it wasn’t until the end of 2021 that it really took off. Indeed, it was so popular that The New York Times purchased Wordle in early February for an undisclosed fee, bringing it under the umbrella of its new NYT Games division.
The game may be found here on the NYT Games website and is available to everyone for nothing more than fun and games. The New York Times and the game’s developer, Josh Wardle, have both affirmed that the game would stay free. Wordle hasn’t become any tougher since the NYT took control, despite popular belief.
To win Wordle, you must correctly guess a five-letter word in six chances. Each time you make a guess, you’ll be informed the letters you selected and whether or not they’re in the correct location in the final word.
It becomes green if a letter is positioned correctly. It becomes yellow if it’s in the word but in the incorrect position. When the term does not include it, it becomes grey.
