On February 25, Samsung’s new Galaxy S22 flagships should be available for purchase. According to a new report, preorders for the Samsung Galaxy S22 may not arrive on time after all.
Many preorders for the Galaxy S22 have been delayed, with some delays going as far back as May 15, according to current shipment estimates (T-Mobile). The delays are only related to the individual airline. According to Samsung’s own website, several colours of the Galaxy S22 are expected to arrive on April 8th. It’s also been pushed back to April 15, with certain versions (Phantom Black/1TB) being entirely sold out at Samsung.
Update: Samsung has published the following statement to explain the delays with the Galaxy S22 series:
Thank you for your interest in and positive feedback on the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. The pre-order volume for the Galaxy S22 series has surpassed our expectations. To that end, we’ve made it a priority to provide these items as quickly as possible to you. However, depending on the market, the model, and the colour, certain customers may face delays. You have our sincere gratitude for your time and consideration.”
