Limited stock of the Samsung Galaxy S22 will be available on launch day.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy Tab S8 were put on hold last weekend by Samsung owing to “overwhelming demand.” And now it’s the turn of the Galaxy S22, as getting your hands on one on launch day is becoming more difficult.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra and certain S22 Plus colours will not be available until April 8 on Samsung.com, while the basic S22 won’t be available until March 4 at the earliest.
T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T all have delivery dates of March to April for the S22 Ultra. T-Mobile will not begin selling the 512GB variant in white until May 15 – 79 days after the phone was supposed to go on sale.
Verizon and T-Mobile still have some S22s and S22 Pluses in stock, but you’ll need to move soon if you want to get one before February 25.
why Samsung Galaxy S22 has been put back a month?
However, Samsung is blaming this longer-than-expected wait time on exceptional demand, rather than the worldwide chip scarcity.
Samsung released a statement saying, “We’re grateful for the enthusiasm and reception to our new Galaxy S22 series.” “Pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 series have surpassed our expectations and are at an all-time high.” To that end, we’ve made it a priority to provide these items as quickly as possible to you. However, certain consumers may face delays depending on the market, model, and colour of the vehicle they purchase. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.”
Both the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra have been tested by us, and we can attest to the fact that they are both outstanding smartphones. If you’re still undecided, you may pre-order with confidence since we’ve already included them on our list of the finest smartphones you can purchase.
