Quordle #33 is here. And the answers are…
It’s okay if you’re looking for today’s Quordle solution since Quordle is similar to Wordle but much more difficult. As Quordle is required to discover four solutions every day, the plural form of the word ‘answers’ would be more appropriate.
There are four times as many words in this new version as in the original, so if you haven’t tried it out yet, you should. You only have nine guesses to come up with the quartet of words, making it potentially more tough than four times as difficult.
In the same manner as Wordle, it resets each day at 7pm ET, thus there is no way to find out what the answers were from the previous day if you miss one game. The only way to keep up with today’s Quordle answers is if you bookmark this page, which we’ll be updating each evening.
There are some spoilers ahead, so if you’re looking for today’s Quordle answers, keep reading. Also, do not use this website to deceive people into believing you answered correctly when you did not. In doing so, we would be wasting our time and effort.
Saturday, February 26th, 2019 – Quordle answers game #33
For today’s Quordle game #33, what are the answers?
We’re not going to keep you waiting much longer. These are their names:
- TOUGH
- JUNTO
- BELLE
I came so close to losing today, despite two of the words being very straightforward. I got PEARL and TOUGH early on; my start word, STARE, had given me three letters in PEARL and a couple in TOUGH and it was easy enough to work those two out based on positions.
But the other two were far harder. What does JUNTO even mean?
Well, according to Merriam-Webster, the definition of JUNTO is:
- group of persons joined for a common purpose
Well, that’s a new one for me. I know junta of course, and JUNTO is apparently derived from it, but to my knowledge I’ve never used or heard the latter word.
A look at Word and Phrase Info makes it clear that it’s an uncommon word; here’s how often today’s Quordle answers feature in the English language:
- PEARL (7,315)
- TOUGH (1,013)
- JUNTO (49,105)
- BELLE (18,316)
However, by the time I had figured it out, I had just a few more chances to get the last phrase correct. When I ran out of options, I was lucky enough to acquire BELLE on my final attempt.
Quordle will become easier, I’m sure, but I won’t be putting my hopes in it just yet.

It’s one of the numerous Wordle clones that have sprung up in the aftermath of Wordle’s massive popularity. Although it’s basically the same game, each player has nine chances to guess the correct answers out of a possible four.
To mimic the behaviour of Wordle’s letters, they become green if they appear in the correct area, yellow if they do, and grey if they don’t.
Despite the fact that there is just one puzzle every day, there is also a practise mode. As if it weren’t enough, the task is very challenging.
In the event that Quordle is too difficult for you, we propose Squabble as an alternative to Wordle in our list of the top Wordle alternatives. Some of our other favourites are the Wordle clone Worldle, the SWordle centred on the Star Wars universe, and the Mathler.
