Does this functionality truly work? I can’t believe it.
I thought I knew all there was to know about using an iPhone, but a recent TikTok craze has shown me otherwise. There’s a hack/trick going around right now that everyone on iOS (including me) is amazed by.
You can copy and paste a picture from your iPhone to your iPad using a three-finger pinch (and vice versa.) In practise, the motion seems more like you’re grabbing a picture from one device and putting it onto another. Using my iPhone 11 and iPad mini 6, I tested out the new function and was very taken aback.
It’s obviously not magic. Apple’s Universal Clipboard feature includes this interesting gimmick, which makes it easier for devices with the same Apple ID to communicate with one another.
