Nicolas Jammet, Nathaniel Ru, and Jonathan Neman launched Sweetgreen in 2007. They wanted to open a healthy and economical salad and frozen yoghurt shop that was also ecologically sustainable. There are already over 30 sites around the country, with more to come.
Although the selection at Sweetgreen is limited, the quality of the cuisine more than makes up for it. Sweetgreen’s costs are still reasonable, especially when you consider that a dinner for one can be had for less than $10.
