Popeyes was created in Arabi, Louisiana, in 1972, but it is now based in Sandy Springs, Georgia, where it has been since 1997. Papa John’s has more than 2,000 locations in more than 22 countries across the globe, making it the second biggest fast food chicken restaurant in the world.
