For the Xbox Series X games of 2022, Starfield has the potential to be the most mind-blowing.

Starfield’s marketing machine is revving up to full throttle, thanks in part to Bethesda design director Emil Pagliarulo’s prediction that gamers would “lose their minds” while playing the game.
Bethesda’s first new IP in years is promptly brought up in a blog post by Starfield’s main designer, Pagliarulo, in which he announces his appointment. This Xbox X, Xbox S, and Windows PC exclusive has certainly piqued the interest of the man who spoke.
It’s not uncommon for a game to be “a disaster, particularly early on, because — news shock! — that’s what game development is,” Pagliarulo remarked, referring to his work on Starfield.
However, there comes a time in the trip when everything starts to fall into place and the vision you had when you first began on this insane adventure starts to come to fruition. When it occurred to Starfield for the first time, it was a ‘Oh. Oh wow.’ moment. Yeah. This is… a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Insanity awaits the players.’ Just one more step and we’ll be done!”
Although the game’s release date has been scheduled for November 11, we have yet to see any gameplay video or receive any hints as to how it will play, so it’s best not to get caught up in the Starfield excitement.

Bethesda, on the other hand, has been slowly leaking Starfield material, which has built a picture of space-based adventure comparable to Skyrim but with astronaut suits and starships rather than armour and arrows to the knee.
What do you think of Starfield? Is it going to be a Han Solo simulator, or is it going to be like NASA and Indiana Jones? Fans of sci-fi and open world games, like me, can’t help but be a little bit excited about this announcement.
As a geek, I can’t help but salivate at the prospect of sitting in a pseudo-realistic spacecraft and seeing all of its working systems while wearing one of the greatest virtual reality headsets, and Pagliarulo’s enthusiastic remarks are just fuel for the hype-drive.
For Bethesda, this all implies that Starfield will need to be shown out during a Bethesda and Xbox event in the summer, or risk lowering expectations. As soon as Tom’s Guide has additional information about Starfield, we’ll get it to you as fast as light.
