Sony’s Xperia 5 III and Xperia 1 III already have Android 12 installed, and the firm is now turning its attention to the devices in its mid-range price bracket. The Xperia 10 II and 10 III are expected to get the newest version of Google’s operating system “very soon,” according to a recent Instagram post from Sony.
A solid Android 12 upgrade for Sony’s Xperia 5 II flagship from 2020 was released earlier this month, so it’s possible that the midrange devices may get it in March.
That the Xperia 10 II has been upgraded to Android 12 after being released two years ago is commendable. However, there has been no announcement on the Xperia 10 III Lite.
