With its more expensive smartphones and tablets, Samsung is known for bundling in freebies, and the Samsung Galaxy S22 series seems to be no exception, as an early shop listing reveals that the phones would be sent with the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro headphones.
TechInsider learned this via a Polish website that is providing credit in exchange for your old phone. This deal seems to be available with the Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, but only if you pre-order one of these devices.
Our four-star review of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro confirms that they’re not cheap at $199 / £219 / AU$349, but they’re also good earphones, as our assessment of them demonstrates. The listing (which has since been deleted) might, of course, be erroneous, or other areas may get different pre-order benefits than the one that was originally posted.
As a result of this listing, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available on February 25, with the other two variants following on March 11. Pre-orders for all three models will reportedly begin on February 9, with shipping expected to begin on February 25. The information we’ve received from other sources is consistent with what we’ve learned so far.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra retail box has been leaked by a leaker known as lanzk, who has posted a photograph of what seems to be the device’s retail box on Naver (a South Korean blogging site).
The same source also shared a picture of what seems to be the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra on display in a store, which was also shared by the same source. The photographs – which were posted more widely by @sondesix – don’t show us anything we haven’t already seen, although the latter gives us another look at the notch that distinguishes the device.
We’d say that these are strong indications that the devices will be available soon, except that we don’t need those indications because we already know that Samsung has a big event scheduled for February 9 at which they will almost certainly be announced.

Pre-order perks that are appropriate, according to the analysis
Assuming that all three Samsung Galaxy S22 versions truly do come with a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, it’s a good bonus, but it’s not something particularly noteworthy by Samsung’s standards.
This was previously available as a free gift with the pre-order of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra in the United Kingdom, and they were a new release at the time, whereas they are now a year old, so that offer beat this one – though the two lower-priced S21 models came with the less expensive Samsung Galaxy Buds Live.
While pre-order freebies may differ from country to region, as they frequently do in this industry, the fact that all three versions seem to come with Buds Pro is a minor red sign, as we’d expect the Ultra to come with a more premium pre-order bonus than the other two models is a little red flag.
In any event, it is probable that pre-orders will begin on February 9, which means we should know for certain what extras Samsung will be giving very soon.
