Brumby’s Bakeries (often abbreviated to Brumby’s) is an Australian and New Zealand retail bakery brand that has locations around the country. It was founded in Victoria in 1975 by Roger Gillespie (co-founder of Bakers Delight) with the launch of its first bakery, The Old Style Bread Centre, in Ashburton, Victoria. It is the state’s oldest continuously operating bakery company.

Brumby’s is a speciality bread shop that is also one of Australia’s biggest and most successful franchise groups, with over 100 locations around the country. They are the first Australian businesses to successfully launch a franchising scheme at a time when franchising was still in its infancy in the country.
