A new feature that gives pricing estimates for routine repairs in selected regions has been added to Apple’s iPhone and iPad support app. The app was updated today.
After the update, you may access the Support app’s repair options by selecting “Repairs & Physical Damage” from the “My Devices” list and selecting the device you own.
An estimate of the repair’s potential cost and alternatives for scheduling service appear when you tap on a popular repair such as a cracked screen, cracked back, or battery servicing. It’s not clear how much it will cost to fix more intricate issues, such as a camera that doesn’t perform as planned.
Whenever you touch on a device in the “My Devices” area, you’ll see a new text input box. Allows users to tell Apple what is wrong with their device in their own words so that they may locate the help option that they need more quickly
To make things easier, you can now enter in your search terms directly into the Apple Support app after choosing a particular repair option. The following are Apple’s official update release notes:
– Tell us what’s happening in your own words to get relevant support options
– See price estimates for common repair topics in select locations
– App now available and translated for users in Ukraine
– Performance enhancements and bug fixes
In the App Store, the Apple Support app is free.
