‘Pokemon Trading Card Game Live’ will have a limited beta for iOS, macOS, and other platforms later in February before becoming live. This is according to a statement from the Pokemon Company.
“Pokemon TCG Live” was initially announced in September 2021, however the release date was pushed back to the following year. Latest card sets, frequent content updates, and an iPhone app are all included in the new edition of Pokemon TCG.
For the first time ever, players in Canada will be able to beta test Pokemon Go on iOS and Android, as well as on PC and macOS, beginning February 22.
The new “Sword & Shield— Brilliant Stars” expansion for “Pokemon TCG Live” will also be available to participants in the restricted beta before it is launched on February 25.
Described by the business as a “new online game that enables players to experience the Pokemon Trading Card Game in an upgraded digital version,” Pokemon TCG Live was created by The Pokemon Company International. Similar to the tabletop version of the Pokemon TCG that fans have adored for more than 25 years, Pokemon TCG Live offers a wide range of gaming modes, daily objectives for players of all abilities, as well as fan-favorite activities like constructing decks and fighting with friends.”
If you use your old “Pokemon TCG Online” login credentials, you’ll be able to import your decks into the new edition. They will be able to utilise digital redemption cards contained in physical trade packs to get digital replicas of their cards, much like the original.
“Pokemon TCG Live” will be free to play with no in-app purchases when it comes later in 2022. As of this writing, the Pokemon Company has not announced a release date for the game.
