What you must understand

  • The following anticipated smartphone for later this year is the OnePlus 10RT.
  • Its purported camera specifications are revealed in a fresh leak from a trustworthy tipper.
  • It is said to have a Sony IMX766 sensor at the center of a triple camera setup.

While we’re still waiting for the OnePlus 10 to maybe ship, a new leak has appeared out of nowhere that suggests there will be yet another OnePlus 10 series smartphone. According to rumors, the triple camera arrangement on the OnePlus 10RT would use Sony’s top-of-the-line camera sensor.

Yogesh Brar, a tipster who recently published purported OnePlus 10 mockups on Twitter, has now provided further details about a rumored OnePlus 10RT smartphone. The 10RT is allegedly the replacement for the OnePlus 9RT smartphone, which was released in a few locations last year.

Brar recently hinted that the OnePlus 10RT (CPH2413) will include a triple rear camera setup in a tweet. It has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, an f/1.88 aperture, and an 84.4-degree field of view. For those who are unaware, this sensor is also present in the recently released OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Ace.

The tipper also claims that a 2MP macro sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 119.7-degree field of view will be included in the arrangement in addition to the main sensor. But on the front, there will be a 16MP Samsung S5K3P9 sensor with EIS, an 82.3-degree field of view, and an f/2.45 aperture.

Since neither the tipster nor OnePlus have provided any information or provided any confirmation, it is likely that we will see the OnePlus 10RT at some point later this year given the credibility of the source.

The OnePlus 9RT, which preceded it, was revealed to be a respectable phone in our review by Harish Jonnalagadda of Android Central. It advertised itself as a gaming phone with potent hardware, clean software, and specifications that are almost identical to those of the OnePlus 9 flagship.

It will be intriguing to see what the OnePlus 10RT has to offer even while the base OnePlus 10 is nowhere to be found. Who knows, when it purportedly releases later this year, it might end up being a credible rival to some of the best Android smartphones.
