The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones to a one-year contract, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Tuesday.

Jones, 33, was released by the Titans in March after a poor one-year stint in which he posted career lows in receptions (31) and receiving yards (434) as well as touchdowns (1). He was limited to just 10 appearances due to a nagging hamstring injury.

After spending the first ten years of his career in Atlanta, where he became one of the best wide receivers in NFL history, Tennessee acquired Jones from Atlanta last year. Sixth overall in the 2011 NFL Draft, Jones played seven seasons for the Falcons and was twice named to the first team of the Pro Bowl.

Tom Brady will have another tool in his arsenal with Jones in Tampa. When the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers meet on Aug. 20 for a preseason game at Saint Thomas Sports Park, he’ll be right back in Nashville.

For the first time in NFL history, Jones averages the most receiving yards per game (91.9).
