The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have just made a major addition to their passing game ahead of the NFL preseason.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed wide receiver Julio Jones to a one-year deal. The seven-time Pro Bowler now joins Tom Brady’s arsenal of weapons.
After a decade with the Falcons, Jones, 33, spent the 2014 season with the Titans. The wide receiver has 31 receptions for 434 yards and one touchdown in 10 games, all career lows.
From 2014 to 2019, Jones was one of the best receivers in the NFL, averaging more than 100 receptions per season and 1,565 receiving yards. For the past three seasons, he has been named to the All-Pro second team.
