For a time, rumours claimed that an Apple event would be held this spring, but a fresh source says that corporate officials will likely take the stage on or around March 8 to reveal an apparent 5G-enabled iPhone SE 3.

Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg reporter, provided us with this article. Gurman has been a long-time tech and Apple writer who has been mainly trustworthy. Gurman ranks second with an 85.5 percent accuracy rating out of hundreds of stories on Apple Track, a website that measures the dependability of Apple reporters and leakers.

Rumors say that the iPhone SE 3 will cost approximately $400 and will have 5G speeds and Apple’s A15 Bionic CPU. In terms of appearance, it may not be as smooth as the iPhone 13, and instead may mimic the iPhone 8’s design with improved internals. However, Chinese website MyDrivers believes that the iPhone XR’s body may be used instead. All of this is still theoretical, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Gurman predicts that, in addition to the iPhone SE 3, the iPad Air 5 will be unveiled. According to Gurman, iOS 15.4 will be released in March as well.

Surprisingly, Gurman’s sources have told him that this event, like the other several Apple events since the epidemic began, would be virtual. But, at the very least, we can be confident that the production quality will be outstanding.

Along with the iPhone SE 3 and iPad Air 5, Gurman says that 2022 would see the “largest crop of new products ever introduced in a single year.” Gurman did not elaborate on what additional devices we could see as the year unfolds, although rumours claim that a new high-end Mac mini and iMac Pro, both powered by Apple hardware, are in the works. A new Mac Pro desktop computer might potentially be in the pipeline.

Again, these are rumours, so there’s always the possibility that things may be pushed back or rearranged, as is the case with producing electronics during a supply-crunched pandemic.

Of course, the iPhone 14 series will most certainly debut in 2022, given Apple launches a new iPhone every year. The Apple Watch 8 is also expected to be released this fall. There have also been reports that the Apple VR/AR headset will be released in 2022, while Gurman now asserts that it will be released in 2023.
