Newly obtained images Tesla Cybertruck provide us with more information, as well as a possible sense of size.
For the second time in less than a year, Tesla’s much-anticipated Cybertruck has emerged from the shadows. It’s time for another look at the truck’s design from a different perspective, and this time we get to view the bed cover.
A drone pilot has been flying above Tesla’s Fremont, California, plant in recent weeks, leaking information on the company’s production processes. A new video released to YouTube shows a prototype Cybertruck sitting next to a Tesla Model S and a Tesla Model 3 — a rare look of the electric truck.
Due to its closeness to the other two vehicles, the Cybertruck gives us a sense of just how massive it is. It dwarfs the Model S, which is already rather long. Obviously, this is an overhead photograph, so our perceptions of scale may be skewed. Nonetheless, it gives some indication of the Cybertruck’s enormous size.
Despite being coated in some form of dust or sand, that bed seems to be in good shape. It’s a tremendous pity that we can only view a little portion of the bed cover since this is the first time it’s been shown to the public. When it comes to installing solar panels on the bed, Tesla does have a patent pending. But it is not immediately apparent if this is the case here.
This is just the latest in a long line of videos showcasing the Cybertruck, and it’s not even the finest one yet. A video was posted online last month showing a complete walk-around of the EV, but with no sound.
As a result of our visit, we were able to observe items like wing mirrors and that gigantic single windshield wiper. Despite the fact that we’re still unsure, Musk seems to have a firm grasp on the matter.
There will be more of the Cybertruck in the near future, and maybe additional photographs of the bed cover will emerge as well. If Tesla plans to begin shipping these vehicles next year, it will become more difficult to keep the Cybertruck under wraps. Source
