Huawei nova 10 series launch alongside Huawei Tag


The Huawei nova 10 and nova 10 Pro smartphones are the latest additions to the company’s nova line. OLED panels, Snapdragon 778G 4G chipsets, and 60MP selfie cameras are all on board. Huawei also unveiled its own NFC tracker, branded Huawei Tag, alongside them.

An OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate is included in this device. There’s only enough for the 60MP selfie camera through a single punch hole cutout in this area. With the same resolution and refresh rate, the nova 10 Pro variant has a bigger 6.78-inch OLED display. The 8MP portrait lens on the front of the Pro model is a new feature exclusive to the device.


Both phones have the same back camera configuration, which includes a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture and an 8MP ultrawide module with an f/2.2 aperture. The depth of field sensor is a 2MP sensor. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G 4G with 128GB or 256GB storage is found in both phones. A new version of HarmonyOS 2 provides software support.

Black, Silver, Green, and Violet are all available colors for the Huawei nova 10 variants. It costs CNY 2,699 ($403) for the entry-level 128GB model and CNY 2,999 ($448) for the higher-capacity edition of Huawei’s Nova 10. There are two variants of the Huawei nova 10 Pro: the 128GB model costs CNY 3,699 ($553) and the 256GB model costs CNY 3,999 ($598). In China, pre-orders have already begun, and the actual sale begins on July 8.


Huawei Tag

NFC smart tracker Huawei Tag is the company’s own take. Huawei’s “Find” network is the only way to track objects with this gadget, which is only compatible with Harmony OS 2.0 devices. Huawei is also bringing encrypted location reporting to the table with its devices. The tracker also features a speaker that can play sounds up to 92 decibels when looking for your things..

The Huawei Tag is barely 5.6mm thick and weighs just 6 grams. It has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance and is powered by a single CR2032 button battery. Currently, the Huawei Tag is only available in white, and it costs CNY 99 ($15) per unit. For an additional CNY 299 ($45), you may purchase a set of four. Open sales begin on July 30.
