Redmi K50i 5G launched with Dimensity 8100 and 144Hz LCD

The Redmi K50i 5G and Redmi Buds 3 Lite wireless earbuds were introduced during the Redmi K50i 5G launch event, which was concluded by Xiaomi India. The phone has a 5,080 mAh battery with 67W fast charging, a 6.6-inch LCD with an adaptive 144Hz refresh rate, and MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 processor.

The K50i 5G is the first Redmi phone to support Dolby Vision, and its LCD screen is of the Fringe Field Switching (FFS) sort. In the center punch hole cutout, there is a 16MP selfie camera and Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The phone has a high impedance headphone port in addition to twin speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Along with an 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP macro camera, the rear of the camera has a 64MP ISOCELL GW 1 primary sensor. The software is handled by MIUI 13 and Android 12. A 5,080 mAh battery with 67W fast charging and PD support up to 27W is included with the Redmi K50i 5G.
