You can now pin chats to the top of your inbox in the official iOS app of Twitter. It’s all laid out here for you to understand.
Users of Twitter’s official app for iPhone and iPad can now pin their favourite direct message conversations to the top of their inbox, a feature previously available only to paying subscribers of Twitter Blue. A total of six conversations can be pinned to your inbox at a time. In the following sections, we’ll walk you through the process.
How to Pin Twitter Direct Messages on iPhone and iPad
- Launch the newest version of the official Twitter app on your iOS device.
- To access your direct message (DM) inbox, click the envelope icon in the Twitter interface’s bottom right corner.
- Right-swipe on the chat you want to save as a favourite.
- The blue pin button can be accessed by clicking on it.
The chat thread will be moved to a section at the top of your inbox labelled “Pinned Conversations” once this is completed.
How to Pin Twitter Direct Messages via the Web
On the web, you still have the option of pinning and unpinning conversations in your inbox. Pick the More (three dots) option that shows when you hover your mouse over a chat, and then select Pin/Unpin conversation.
